In 2011, Russia’s trade with Hungary totaled $11,108,419,717, up 30.74% ($2,611,700,704) from 2010.

Russia’s exports to Hungary in 2011 totaled $7,775,089,416, up 45.19% ($2,419,808,984) from 2010.

Russia’s imports from Hungary in 2011 totaled $3,333,330,301, up 6.11% ($191,891,720) from 2010.

Russia’s trade surplus with Hungary in 2011 was $4,441,759,115, a 100.64% increase ($2,227,917,264) over 2010.

Hungary was Russia’s 18th largest trading partner in 2011 (just as in 2010), accounting for 1.3506% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.3573% in 2010).

Hungary was Russia’s 17th largest export market in 2011 (up from 20th in 2010), accounting for 1.5047% of Russia’s total exports (up from 1.3487% in 2010).

Hungary was Russia’s 21st largest supplier in 2011 (down from 18th in 2010), accounting for 1.0902% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.3723% in 2010).

The major share of Russian exports to Hungary in 2011 (and in 2010) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 7.44% of Russia’s total exports to Hungary (6.61% in 2010);
