Russia’s Trade with Japan

In 2012, Russia’s trade with Japan totaled $31,158,265,329, up 5.05% ($1,497,717,843) from 2011.

Russia’s exports to Japan in 2012 totaled $15,508,817,703, up 5.91% ($865,355,062) from 2011.

Russia’s imports from Japan in 2012 totaled $15,649,447,626, up 4.21% ($632,362,781) from 2011.

Russia’s trade deficit with Japan in 2012 was $140,629,923, a 62.36% decrease ($232,992,281) over 2011.

Japan was Russia’s 8th largest trading partner in 2012 (up from 9th in 2011), accounting for 3.7005% of Russia’s total trade (up from 3.6062% in 2011).

Japan was Russia’s 10th largest export market in 2012 (up from 11th in 2011), accounting for 2.9556% of Russia’s total exports (up from 2.8339% in 2011).

Japan was Russia’s 4th largest supplier in 2012 (just as in 2011), accounting for 4.9326% of Russia’s total imports (up from 4.9114% in 2011).
