Russia’s exports to Kuwait in 2012 were $80,855,048, down 77.32% ($275,726,518) from 2011.

Russia’s imports from Kuwait in 2012 totaled $2,072,813, up 13,093.39% ($2,057,102) from 2011.

Russia’s trade surplus with Kuwait in 2012 was $78,782,235, a 77.91% decrease ($277,783,620) over 2011.

Kuwait was Russia’s 120th largest trading partner in 2012 (down from 87th in 2011), accounting for 0.0098% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0434% in 2011).

Kuwait was Russia’s 105th largest export market in 2012 (down from 75th in 2011), accounting for 0.0154% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0690% in 2011).

Kuwait was Russia’s 138th largest supplier in 2012 (up from 186th in 2011), accounting for 0.0007% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0000% in 2011).

Russia’s Exports to Kuwait

The major share of Russian exports to Kuwait in 2012 (and in 2011) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 75.21% of Russia’s total exports to Kuwait (0.82% in 2011);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 13.23% of Russia’s total exports to Kuwait (55.14% in 2011);
