In 2012, Russia’s trade with Slovakia was $9,868,052,327, down 1.55% ($154,933,826) from 2011.

Russia’s exports to Slovakia in 2012 were $6,153,231,504, down 12.90% ($911,620,621) from 2011.

Russia’s imports from Slovakia in 2012 totaled $3,714,820,823, up 25.58% ($756,686,795) from 2011.

Russia’s trade surplus with Slovakia in 2012 was $2,438,410,681, a 40.62% decrease ($1,668,307,416) over 2011.

Slovakia was Russia’s 22nd largest trading partner in 2012 (down from 20th in 2011), accounting for 1.1720% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.2186% in 2011).

Slovakia was Russia’s 22nd largest export market in 2012 (down from 21st in 2011), accounting for 1.1726% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.3673% in 2011).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 3.32% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (3.60% in 2011);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 3.32% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (2.32% in 2011);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.20% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (1.49% in 2011).
