In 2013, Russia’s trade with Malaysia totaled $2,686,000,343, up 53.78% ($939,303,193) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to Malaysia in 2013 totaled $1,280,376,054, up 364.04% ($1,004,454,105) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Malaysia in 2013 were $1,405,624,289, down 4.43% ($65,150,912) from 2012.

Russia’s trade deficit with Malaysia in 2013 was $125,248,235, a 89.52% decrease ($1,069,605,017) over 2012.

Malaysia was Russia’s 43rd largest trading partner in 2013 (up from 53rd in 2012), accounting for 0.3189% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2074% in 2012).

Malaysia was Russia’s 51st largest export market in 2013 (up from 79th in 2012), accounting for 0.2428% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0526% in 2012).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 17.12% of Russia’s total imports from Malaysia (16.85% in 2012);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 16.38% of Russia’s total imports from Malaysia (19.57% in 2012);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.68% of Russia’s total imports from Malaysia (2.81% in 2012);
  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 1.66% of Russia’s total imports from Malaysia (1.42% in 2012).
