Russia’s exports to Qatar in 2013 totaled $18,343,386, up 324.64% ($14,023,588) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Qatar in 2013 were $23,071,680, down 35.38% ($12,634,338) from 2012.

Russia’s trade deficit with Qatar in 2013 was $4,728,294, a 84.94% decrease ($26,657,926) over 2012.

Qatar was Russia’s 129th largest trading partner in 2013 (up from 132nd in 2012), accounting for 0.0049% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0048% in 2012).

Qatar was Russia’s 128th largest export market in 2013 (up from 146th in 2012), accounting for 0.0035% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0008% in 2012).

Qatar was Russia’s 105th largest supplier in 2013 (down from 99th in 2012), accounting for 0.0073% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0113% in 2012).

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Qatar in 2013 over 2012 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Articles of iron or steel (HS code 73) - a decrease of $2,791,726;
  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $366,650;
