Russia’s Trade with Singapore

In 2013, Russia’s trade with Singapore totaled $2,438,567,809, up 21.72% ($435,191,542) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to Singapore in 2013 totaled $1,885,588,874, up 18.63% ($296,137,143) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Singapore in 2013 totaled $552,978,935, up 33.59% ($139,054,399) from 2012.

Russia’s trade surplus with Singapore in 2013 was $1,332,609,939, a 13.36% increase ($157,082,744) over 2012.

Singapore was Russia’s 47th largest trading partner in 2013 (up from 48th in 2012), accounting for 0.2895% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.2379% in 2012).

Singapore was Russia’s 41st largest export market in 2013 (up from 45th in 2012), accounting for 0.3576% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.3029% in 2012).

Singapore was Russia’s 57th largest supplier in 2013 (up from 60th in 2012), accounting for 0.1756% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1305% in 2012).

Russia’s Exports to Singapore

The major share of Russian exports to Singapore in 2013 (and in 2012) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 89.46% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (95.77% in 2012);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 6.58% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (2.21% in 2012);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.54% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (0.46% in 2012);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 1.32% of Russia’s total exports to Singapore (1.25% in 2012).
