In 2013, Russia’s trade with Slovakia was $9,393,823,393, down 4.81% ($474,228,934) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to Slovakia in 2013 were $5,860,132,938, down 4.76% ($293,098,566) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Slovakia in 2013 were $3,533,690,455, down 4.88% ($181,130,368) from 2012.

Russia’s trade surplus with Slovakia in 2013 was $2,326,442,483, a 4.59% decrease ($111,968,198) over 2012.

Slovakia was Russia’s 22nd largest trading partner in 2013 (just as in 2012), accounting for 1.1153% of Russia’s total trade (down from 1.1720% in 2012).

Slovakia was Russia’s 25th largest export market in 2013 (down from 22nd in 2012), accounting for 1.1114% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.1726% in 2012).

Slovakia was Russia’s 21st largest supplier in 2013 (down from 20th in 2012), accounting for 1.1219% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.1709% in 2012).

The major share of Russian exports to Slovakia in 2013 (and in 2012) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 3.96% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (3.32% in 2012);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 2.18% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (3.32% in 2012);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.61% of Russia’s total exports to Slovakia (1.20% in 2012).
