In 2013, Russia’s trade with Spain totaled $10,941,689,068, up 2.90% ($307,876,046) from 2012.

Russia’s exports to Spain in 2013 totaled $6,027,059,449, up 5.35% ($306,274,640) from 2012.

Russia’s imports from Spain in 2013 totaled $4,914,629,619, up 0.03% ($1,601,406) from 2012.

Russia’s trade surplus with Spain in 2013 was $1,112,429,830, a 37.72% increase ($304,673,234) over 2012.

Spain was Russia’s 20th largest trading partner in 2013 (down from 18th in 2012), accounting for 1.2991% of Russia’s total trade (up from 1.2629% in 2012).

Spain was Russia’s 23rd largest export market in 2013 (up from 24th in 2012), accounting for 1.1431% of Russia’s total exports (up from 1.0902% in 2012).

Spain was Russia’s 17th largest supplier in 2013 (just as in 2012), accounting for 1.5604% of Russia’s total imports (up from 1.5486% in 2012).

The major share of Russian exports to Spain in 2013 (and in 2012) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 10.47% of Russia’s total exports to Spain (4.07% in 2012);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 3.62% of Russia’s total exports to Spain (5.07% in 2012);

Russia’s Imports from Spain
