Russia’s Trade with the Philippines

In 2014, Russia’s trade with the Philippines was $1,437,909,580, down 19.15% ($340,485,546) from 2013.

Russia’s exports to the Philippines in 2014 were $1,059,476,844, down 19.97% ($264,389,567) from 2013.

Russia’s imports from the Philippines in 2014 were $378,432,736, down 16.74% ($76,095,979) from 2013.

Russia’s trade surplus with the Philippines in 2014 was $681,044,108, a 21.66% decrease ($188,293,588) over 2013.

The Philippines was Russia’s 60th largest trading partner in 2014 (down from 53rd in 2013), accounting for 0.1837% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2112% in 2013).

The Philippines was Russia’s 54th largest export market in 2014 (down from 49th in 2013), accounting for 0.2132% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.2511% in 2013).

The Philippines was Russia’s 60th largest supplier in 2014 (down from 58th in 2013), accounting for 0.1323% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.1443% in 2013).

The major share of Russian exports to the Philippines in 2014 (and in 2013) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 94.39% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (91.38% in 2013);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.61% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (4.41% in 2013);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 1.90% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (1.50% in 2013);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 0.87% of Russia’s total exports to the Philippines (2.18% in 2013).

Russia’s Imports from the Philippines

The major share of Russian imports from the Philippines in 2014 (and in 2013) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 11.15% of Russia’s total imports from the Philippines (9.92% in 2013);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 7.61% of Russia’s total imports from the Philippines (13.41% in 2013);
