Russia’s imports from Malta in 2015 were $25,558,387, down 43.23% ($19,463,673) from 2014.

Russia’s trade surplus with Malta in 2015 was $2,475,859,701, a 17.48% decrease ($524,634,400) over 2014.

Malta was Russia’s 38th largest trading partner in 2015 (up from 41st in 2014), accounting for 0.4802% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.3947% in 2014).

Malta was Russia’s 28th largest export market in 2015 (up from 33rd in 2014), accounting for 0.7280% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.6128% in 2014).

Malta was Russia’s 100th largest supplier in 2015 (down from 93rd in 2014), accounting for 0.0140% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0157% in 2014).

Russia’s Imports from Malta

The major share of Russian imports from Malta in 2015 (and in 2014) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 21.40% of Russia’s total imports from Malta (59.13% in 2014);
