In the 1st quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Honduras totaled $11,045,911, up 24.42% ($2,167,663) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Honduras in the 1st quarter of 2016 totaled $8,013,948, up 61.44% ($3,049,855) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Honduras in the 1st quarter of 2016 were $3,031,963, down 22.54% ($882,192) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade surplus with Honduras in the 1st quarter of 2016 was $4,981,985, a 374.50% increase ($3,932,047) over the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's Imports from Honduras

The major share of Russian imports from Honduras in the 1st quarter of 2016 (and in the 1st quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 92.21% of Russia's total imports from Honduras (96.50% in the 1st quarter of 2015);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 3.87% of Russia's total imports from Honduras (1.03% in the 1st quarter of 2015);
  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 3.01% of Russia's total imports from Honduras (1.14% in the 1st quarter of 2015);
