Russia's Trade with Luxembourg

In the 1st quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Luxembourg was $30,901,967, down 5.67% ($1,855,835) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Luxembourg in the 1st quarter of 2016 were $12,089,053, down 2.41% ($298,715) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Luxembourg in the 1st quarter of 2016 were $18,812,914, down 7.64% ($1,557,120) from the 1st quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade deficit with Luxembourg in the 1st quarter of 2016 was $6,723,861, a 15.77% decrease ($1,258,405) over the 1st quarter of 2015.

Luxembourg was Russia's 104th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2016 (down from 103rd in the 1st quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0318% of Russia's total trade (up from 0.0248% in the 1st quarter of 2015).

Luxembourg was Russia's 102nd largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2016 (up from 108th in the 1st quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0197% of Russia's total exports (up from 0.0137% in the 1st quarter of 2015).

Luxembourg was Russia's 85th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2016 (down from 81st in the 1st quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0523% of Russia's total imports (up from 0.0485% in the 1st quarter of 2015).

  • Plastics and articles thereof (HS code 39) - an increase of $55,251.

The largest declines in Russia's exports to Luxembourg in the 1st quarter of 2016 over the 1st quarter of 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $442,652;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - a decrease of $122,569;
  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $49,770;
  • Pulp of wood or of other fibrous cellulosic material; waste and scrap of paper or paperboard (HS code 47) - a decrease of $42,006.

Russia's Imports from Luxembourg

  • Soap, organic surface-active agents, washing preparations, lubricating preparations, artificial waxes, prepared waxes, polishing or scouring preparations, candles and similar articles, modeling pastes, "dental waxes" and dental preparations with a basis of plaster (HS code 34) - an increase of $99,929;
  • Aluminum and articles thereof (HS code 76) - an increase of $68,596;
