Russia's Trade with Denmark

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Denmark was $605,975,933, down 30.43% ($265,101,490) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Denmark in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $367,750,575, down 40.28% ($248,084,679) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Denmark in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $238,225,358, down 6.67% ($17,016,811) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade surplus with Denmark in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $129,525,217, a 64.08% decrease ($231,067,868) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Denmark was Russia's 35th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (down from 34th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.5620% of Russia's total imports (down from 0.5699% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Russia's Exports to Denmark

The major share of Russian exports to Denmark in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 72.06% of Russia's total exports to Denmark (84.25% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 18.26% of Russia's total exports to Denmark (8.94% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 4.91% of Russia's total exports to Denmark (2.96% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);

The largest declines in Russia's exports to Denmark in the 2nd quarter of 2016 over the 2nd quarter of 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $253,815,827;
  • Residues and waste from the food industries; prepared animal feed (HS code 23) - a decrease of $5,612,517;
