Russia's Trade with Greece

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Greece totaled $617,343,965, up 0.99% ($6,047,521) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Greece in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $561,160,448, up 1.69% ($9,331,609) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Greece in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $56,183,517, down 5.52% ($3,284,088) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade surplus with Greece in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $504,976,931, a 2.56% increase ($12,615,697) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Greece was Russia's 35th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 39th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.5672% of Russia's total trade (up from 0.4484% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Greece was Russia's 26th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 31st in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.8445% of Russia's total exports (up from 0.6028% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Greece was Russia's 63rd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (down from 61st in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.1325% of Russia's total imports (down from 0.1328% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Russia's Exports to Greece

The major share of Russian exports to Greece in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 62.81% of Russia's total exports to Greece (79.99% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 32.08% of Russia's total exports to Greece (14.33% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 2.08% of Russia's total exports to Greece (1.49% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 1.40% of Russia's total exports to Greece (2.11% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
