Russia's Trade with Montenegro

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Montenegro was $2,880,810, down 84.03% ($15,161,049) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $1,801,399, down 89.77% ($15,812,526) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $1,079,411, up 152.24% ($651,477) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade surplus with Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $721,988, a 95.80% decrease ($16,464,003) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Montenegro was Russia's 140th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (down from 120th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0026% of Russia's total trade (down from 0.0132% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

The largest declines in Russia's exports to Montenegro in the 2nd quarter of 2016 over the 2nd quarter of 2015 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Fertilizers (HS code 31) - a decrease of $142,428;

  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - a decrease of $45,364;
  • Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (HS code 07) - a decrease of $26,633;
  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $20,631;
  • Natural or cultured pearls, precious or semi-precious stones,precious metals, metals clad with precious metal and articles thereof; imitation jewelry; coin (HS code 71) - a decrease of $11,792;
  • Miscellaneous articles of base metal (HS code 83) - a decrease of $11,728;
  • Essential oils and resinoids; perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations (HS code 33) - a decrease of $11,023;
  • Glass and glassware (HS code 70) - a decrease of $6,901.
