Russia's Trade with Morocco
In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with Morocco totaled $238,840,374, up 25.60% ($48,681,715) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia's exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $147,583,594, up 32.88% ($36,521,536) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia's imports from Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $91,256,780, up 15.37% ($12,160,179) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia's trade surplus with Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $56,326,814, a 76.21% increase ($24,361,357) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Morocco was Russia's 59th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 70th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2194% of Russia's total trade (up from 0.1395% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Morocco was Russia's 57th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 68th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2221% of Russia's total exports (up from 0.1213% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Morocco was Russia's 55th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 56th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2153% of Russia's total imports (up from 0.1766% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Russia's Exports to Morocco
The major share of Russian exports to Morocco in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 52.79% of Russia's total exports to Morocco (78.28% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 36.21% of Russia's total exports to Morocco (14.44% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
- Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 7.05% of Russia's total exports to Morocco (1.72% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
