Russia's Trade with the Czech Republic

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia's trade with the Czech Republic was $1,277,124,361, down 17.89% ($278,349,146) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's exports to the Czech Republic in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $570,648,366, down 34.10% ($295,271,774) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's imports from the Czech Republic in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $706,475,995, up 2.45% ($16,922,628) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia's trade with the Czech Republic went from a surplus of $176,366,773 in the 2nd quarter of 2015, to a deficit of $135,827,629 in the 2nd quarter of 2016.

The Czech Republic was Russia's 20th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (down from 19th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 1.1734% of Russia's total trade (up from 1.1409% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

The Czech Republic was Russia's 24th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (down from 20th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.8588% of Russia's total exports (down from 0.9459% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

The Czech Republic was Russia's 14th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 16th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 1.6666% of Russia's total imports (up from 1.5396% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Russia's Exports to the Czech Republic

The major share of Russian exports to the Czech Republic in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 57.32% of Russia's total exports to the Czech Republic (83.76% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 19.05% of Russia's total exports to the Czech Republic (4.00% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 10.24% of Russia's total exports to the Czech Republic (3.28% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 7.23% of Russia's total exports to the Czech Republic (6.22% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
