Russia’s Trade with Abkhazia
In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Abkhazia was $68,160,449, down 2.30% ($1,605,800) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s exports to Abkhazia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were $54,304,147, down 4.69% ($2,672,939) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s imports from Abkhazia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $13,856,302, up 8.34% ($1,067,139) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s trade surplus with Abkhazia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $40,447,845, a 8.46% decrease ($3,740,078) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Abkhazia was Russia’s 85th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 89th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0626% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0512% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Abkhazia was Russia’s 76th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 79th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0817% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0622% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Abkhazia was Russia’s 87th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 91st in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0327% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0286% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
Russia’s Exports to Abkhazia
The major share of Russian exports to Abkhazia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
