The top ten Russia’s export markets in Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 were China (10.5445% of Russia’s total exports), Turkey (4.8997%), Kazakhstan (3.4176%), Japan (3.1761%), South Korea (3.0078%), India (1.4530%), Taiwan (0.8938%), Uzbekistan (0.7345%), Israel (0.5206%), and Azerbaijan (0.4698%);

- The share of Japan in Russia’s total exports declined from 3.9110% in the 2nd quarter of the 2015 to 3.1761% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016;
- The share of South Korea in Russia’s total exports declined from 3.6376% in the 2nd quarter of the 2015 to 3.0078% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016;
- The share of Vietnam in Russia’s total exports declined from 0.5775% in the 2nd quarter of the 2015 to 0.3467% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016;
- The share of Iraq in Russia’s total exports declined 4.7-fold from 0.3635% in the 2nd quarter of the 2015 to 0.0774% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016;
- The share of Iran in Russia’s total exports rose 2.1-fold from 0.2064% in the 2nd quarter of the 2015 to 0.4372% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016;
