Russia’s Trade with Cambodia

In the 2nd quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Cambodia totaled $29,855,869, up 37.95% ($8,213,733) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $1,041,304, up 30.44% ($243,015) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 totaled $28,814,565, up 38.24% ($7,970,718) from the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade deficit with Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was $27,773,261, a 38.55% increase ($7,727,703) over the 2nd quarter of 2015.

Cambodia was Russia’s 100th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 116th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0274% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0159% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Cambodia was Russia’s 76th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (up from 84th in the 2nd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0680% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0465% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).

Russia’s Imports from Cambodia

The major share of Russian imports from Cambodia in the 2nd quarter of 2016 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 95.22% of Russia’s total imports from Cambodia (91.66% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 2.75% of Russia’s total imports from Cambodia (6.34% in the 2nd quarter of 2015);
  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 1.14% of Russia’s total imports from Cambodia (1.54% in the 2nd quarter of 2015).
