Russia’s Trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina
In the 3rd quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina was $24,581,459, down 62.73% ($41,364,875) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2016 were $9,966,815, down 80.67% ($41,597,768) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s imports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2016 totaled $14,614,644, up 1.62% ($232,893) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.
Russia’s trade with Bosnia and Herzegovina went from a surplus of $37,182,832 in the 3rd quarter of 2015, to a deficit of $4,647,829 in the 3rd quarter of 2016.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 113th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (down from 91st in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0202% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0520% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).
Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 119th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (down from 85th in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0139% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0648% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).
Bosnia and Herzegovina was Russia’s 89th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (up from 90th in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0292% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0303% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).

The major share of Russian exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 43.62% of Russia’s total exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina (85.58% in the 3rd quarter of 2015);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 24.45% of Russia’s total exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina (6.43% in the 3rd quarter of 2015);
- Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 16.16% of Russia’s total exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina (4.07% in the 3rd quarter of 2015);
- Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 3.87% of Russia’s total exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina (0.10% in the 3rd quarter of 2015);
