Russia’s Trade with Moldova

In the 3rd quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Moldova totaled $254,803,405, up 4.42% ($10,779,179) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2016 were $178,991,295, down 5.26% ($9,941,715) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2016 totaled $75,812,110, up 37.61% ($20,720,894) from the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2016 was $103,179,185, a 22.91% decrease ($30,662,609) over the 3rd quarter of 2015.

Moldova was Russia’s 58th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (up from 65th in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2090% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1923% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).

Moldova was Russia’s 55th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.2488% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.2376% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).

Moldova was Russia’s 58th largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (up from 59th in the 3rd quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.1517% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1163% in the 3rd quarter of 2015).

Russia’s Exports to Moldova

The major share of Russian exports to Moldova in the 3rd quarter of 2016 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
