Russia’s Trade with Abkhazia

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Abkhazia totaled $68,031,328, up 19.32% ($11,015,167) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Abkhazia in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $50,022,453, up 16.07% ($6,926,342) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Abkhazia in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $18,008,875, up 29.37% ($4,088,825) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Abkhazia in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $32,013,578, a 9.73% increase ($2,837,517) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Abkhazia was Russia’s 92nd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 93rd in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0499% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0436% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Abkhazia was Russia’s 81st largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 84th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0597% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0523% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Abkhazia was Russia’s 91st largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 90th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0343% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0288% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

  • Preparations of cereals, flour, starch or milk; bakers’ wares (HS code 19) - an increase of $177,843;
