Russia’s Trade with Belgium

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Belgium totaled $2,053,458,915, up 4.99% ($97,597,606) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Belgium in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $1,396,157,083, down 2.76% ($39,687,867) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Belgium in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $657,301,832, up 26.40% ($137,285,473) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belgium in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $738,855,251, a 19.32% decrease ($176,973,340) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Belgium was Russia’s 17th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 1.5069% of Russia’s total trade (up from 1.4957% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Belgium was Russia’s 17th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 1.6653% of Russia’s total exports (down from 1.7419% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Belgium was Russia’s 20th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 24th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 1.2536% of Russia’s total imports (up from 1.0758% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Russia’s Exports to Belgium

The major share of Russian exports to Belgium in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
