Russia’s Trade with Jordan

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Jordan was $39,228,301, down 65.43% ($74,254,707) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $33,689,539, down 68.92% ($74,709,436) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $5,538,762, up 8.94% ($454,729) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $28,150,777, a 72.75% decrease ($75,164,165) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Jordan was Russia’s 104th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 78th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0288% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0868% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Jordan was Russia’s 93rd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 64th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0402% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1315% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Jordan was Russia’s 105th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 102nd in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0106% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0105% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Russia’s Exports to Jordan

The major share of Russian exports to Jordan in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - an increase of $163,061;

  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $717,975;
  • Products of the milling industry; malt; starches; inulin; wheat gluten (HS code 11) - a decrease of $352,002;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $159,520.
