In 2016, Russia’s trade with Nicaragua was $34,323,695, down 1.64% ($573,956) from 2015.

Russia’s exports to Nicaragua in 2016 were $25,364,168, down 6.47% ($1,753,876) from 2015.

Russia’s imports from Nicaragua in 2016 totaled $8,959,527, up 15.17% ($1,179,920) from 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Nicaragua in 2016 was $16,404,641, a 15.17% decrease ($2,933,796) over 2015.

Nicaragua was Russia’s 136th largest trading partner in 2016 (up from 138th in 2015), accounting for 0.0073% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0066% in 2015).

  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 34.90% of Russia’s total exports to Nicaragua (13.67% in 2015);

  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 1.10% of Russia’s total imports from Nicaragua (1.39% in 2015).
