Russia’s Trade with Turkmenistan

In the 4th quarter of 2016, Russia’s trade with Turkmenistan was $135,790,209, down 56.39% ($175,590,836) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s exports to Turkmenistan in the 4th quarter of 2016 were $109,040,747, down 62.78% ($183,921,178) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s imports from Turkmenistan in the 4th quarter of 2016 totaled $26,749,462, up 45.23% ($8,330,342) from the 4th quarter of 2015.

Russia’s trade surplus with Turkmenistan in the 4th quarter of 2016 was $82,291,285, a 70.03% decrease ($192,251,520) over the 4th quarter of 2015.

Turkmenistan was Russia’s 77th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2016 (down from 59th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0996% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2381% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

Turkmenistan was Russia’s 81st largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2016 (up from 89th in the 4th quarter of 2015), accounting for 0.0510% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0381% in the 4th quarter of 2015).

The major share of Russian exports to Turkmenistan in the 4th quarter of 2016 (and in the 4th quarter of 2015) was accounted for the following product types:
