In 2016, Russia’s trade with Zimbabwe totaled $67,014,640, up 47.67% ($21,632,149) from 2015.

Russia’s exports to Zimbabwe in 2016 totaled $8,600,005, up 178.50% ($5,511,988) from 2015.

Russia’s imports from Zimbabwe in 2016 totaled $58,414,635, up 38.11% ($16,120,161) from 2015.

Russia’s trade deficit with Zimbabwe in 2016 was $49,814,630, a 27.06% increase ($10,608,173) over 2015.

Zimbabwe was Russia’s 120th largest trading partner in 2016 (up from 132nd in 2015), accounting for 0.0143% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0086% in 2015).

Zimbabwe was Russia’s 145th largest export market in 2016 (up from 159th in 2015), accounting for 0.0030% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0009% in 2015).

Zimbabwe was Russia’s 89th largest supplier in 2016 (up from 98th in 2015), accounting for 0.0320% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0232% in 2015).

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 98.74% of Russia’s total exports to Zimbabwe (27.28% in 2015);
  • Wood and wood products (HS codes 44-49) - 0.56% of Russia’s total exports to Zimbabwe (64.14% in 2015);
  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 0.47% of Russia’s total exports to Zimbabwe (8.41% in 2015).

  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $80,047;
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - a decrease of $29,763.
