Russia’s Trade with Croatia

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Croatia totaled $275,363,295, up 98.71% ($136,784,851) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $204,678,409, up 122.48% ($112,678,589) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $70,684,886, up 51.75% ($24,106,262) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $133,993,523, a 195.00% increase ($88,572,327) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Croatia was Russia’s 58th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 67th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2142% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1427% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Croatia was Russia’s 51st largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 64th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2456% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1501% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Croatia was Russia’s 63rd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 62nd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1563% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1301% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Croatia

The major share of Russian exports to Croatia in the 1st quarter of 2017 (and in the 1st quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 94.76% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (88.66% in the 1st quarter of 2016);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 2.60% of Russia’s total exports to Croatia (0.90% in the 1st quarter of 2016);
