Russia’s Trade with Kazakhstan

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Kazakhstan totaled $3,845,215,060, up 50.76% ($1,294,684,079) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Kazakhstan in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $2,651,082,139, up 48.98% ($871,628,034) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Kazakhstan in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $1,194,132,921, up 54.87% ($423,056,045) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Kazakhstan in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $1,456,949,218, a 44.48% increase ($448,571,989) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 10th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 11th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.9912% of Russia’s total trade (up from 2.6273% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 9th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 10th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 3.1812% of Russia’s total exports (up from 2.9037% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Kazakhstan was Russia’s 9th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 2.6409% of Russia’s total imports (up from 2.1540% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
