Russia’s Trade with South Africa

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with South Africa totaled $131,474,231, up 16.62% ($18,737,246) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2017 were $17,315,644, down 45.69% ($14,569,676) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $114,158,587, up 41.20% ($33,306,922) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with South Africa in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $96,842,943, a 97.77% increase ($47,876,598) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

South Africa was Russia’s 73rd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 72nd in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1023% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.1161% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
