Russia’s Trade with South Ossetia

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with South Ossetia totaled $13,006,820, up 57.01% ($4,722,868) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $11,620,552, up 41.81% ($3,426,223) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $1,386,268, up 1,446.78% ($1,296,645) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with South Ossetia in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $10,234,284, a 26.28% increase ($2,129,578) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

South Ossetia was Russia’s 122nd largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 126th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0101% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0085% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

South Ossetia was Russia’s 110th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 112th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0139% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0134% in the 1st quarter of 2016).
