Russia’s Trade with Thailand

In the 1st quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Thailand totaled $385,248,642, up 30.83% ($90,791,476) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Thailand in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $84,415,707, up 12.99% ($9,704,365) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Thailand in the 1st quarter of 2017 totaled $300,832,935, up 36.90% ($81,087,111) from the 1st quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Thailand in the 1st quarter of 2017 was $216,417,228, a 49.22% increase ($71,382,746) over the 1st quarter of 2016.

Thailand was Russia’s 50th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2017 (up from 51st in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2997% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.3033% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Thailand was Russia’s 71st largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2017 (down from 68th in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1013% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1219% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Thailand was Russia’s 32nd largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2017 (just as in the 1st quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.6653% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.6139% in the 1st quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Thailand

The major share of Russian exports to Thailand in the 1st quarter of 2017 (and in the 1st quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
