The major trading partners of Russia in Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2017:

The top ten Russia’s trade partners in Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were China (14.2589% of Russia’s total foreign trade), South Korea (3.8936%), Turkey (3.4211%), Japan (3.2453%), Kazakhstan (3.0030%), India (1.5829%), Taiwan (0.9637%), Vietnam (0.7643%), Singapore (0.7528%), and Azerbaijan (0.6890%);

The top ten Russia’s export markets in Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were China (10.9979% of Russia’s total exports), Turkey (4.7834%), South Korea (3.8630%), Kazakhstan (3.5454%), Japan (3.1656%), India (1.7019%), Taiwan (1.0356%), Singapore (1.0017%), Azerbaijan (0.8568%), and Uzbekistan (0.7126%);

The top ten Russia’s import suppliers from Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were China (19.1677% of Russia’s total imports), South Korea (3.9397%), Japan (3.3651%), Kazakhstan (2.1866%), Vietnam (1.4460%), India (1.4038%), Turkey (1.3704%), Taiwan (0.8554%), Indonesia (0.8167%), Thailand (0.6818%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Asia in the 2nd quarter of 2017 over the 2nd quarter of 2016:

  • The share of South Korea in Russia’s total exports rose from 3.0078% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 3.8630% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Singapore in Russia’s total exports rose 2.2-fold from 0.4654% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 1.0017% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Turkmenistan in Russia’s total exports declined 2.8-fold from 0.2743% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0966% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Syria in Russia’s total exports rose 4.4-fold from 0.0308% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.1370% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Myanmar (Burma) in Russia’s total exports rose 6.2-fold from 0.0204% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.1261% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of South Korea in Russia’s total imports rose from 2.7418% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 3.9397% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Turkmenistan in Russia’s total imports declined 13.6-fold from 0.5879% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0432% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of the United Arab Emirates in Russia’s total imports declined 4.4-fold from 0.3866% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0870% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Syria in Russia’s total imports declined 15.1-fold from 0.0106% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0007% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Afghanistan in Russia’s total imports declined 5.1-fold from 0.0046% in the 2nd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0009% in the 2nd quarter of the 2017.
