Russia’s Trade with Bulgaria
In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Bulgaria totaled $818,957,994, up 25.33% ($165,532,470) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.
Russia’s exports to Bulgaria in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $690,159,791, up 29.44% ($156,986,771) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.
Russia’s imports from Bulgaria in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $128,798,203, up 7.11% ($8,545,699) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.
Russia’s trade surplus with Bulgaria in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $561,361,588, a 35.95% increase ($148,441,072) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.
Bulgaria was Russia’s 36th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 34th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.5860% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.6004% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
Bulgaria was Russia’s 28th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 27th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.8219% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.8024% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
Bulgaria was Russia’s 52nd largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 53rd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2309% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.2837% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).
Russia’s Exports to Bulgaria
The major share of Russian exports to Bulgaria in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (and in the 2nd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
- Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 79.37% of Russia’s total exports to Bulgaria (80.57% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
- Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 12.80% of Russia’s total exports to Bulgaria (9.28% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
- Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 1.93% of Russia’s total exports to Bulgaria (3.66% in the 2nd quarter of 2016);
