Russia’s Trade with Luxembourg

In the 2nd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Luxembourg totaled $52,977,541, up 6.13% ($3,057,789) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Luxembourg in the 2nd quarter of 2017 totaled $15,695,927, up 66.36% ($6,260,936) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Luxembourg in the 2nd quarter of 2017 were $37,281,614, down 7.91% ($3,203,147) from the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Luxembourg in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was $21,585,687, a 30.48% decrease ($9,464,083) over the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Luxembourg was Russia’s 96th largest trading partner in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 93rd in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0379% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0459% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Luxembourg was Russia’s 106th largest export market in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (up from 111th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0187% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0142% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

Luxembourg was Russia’s 74th largest supplier in the 2nd quarter of 2017 (down from 70th in the 2nd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0668% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0955% in the 2nd quarter of 2016).

  • Iron and steel (HS code 72) - an increase of $443,276;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - an increase of $173,200.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Luxembourg in the 2nd quarter of 2017 over the 2nd quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Glass and glassware (HS code 70) - a decrease of $191,606;

Russia’s Imports from Luxembourg
