Russia’s Trade with Angola

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Angola was $26,299,345, down 76.82% ($87,142,926) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Angola in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were $26,291,290, down 76.82% ($87,144,904) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Angola in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $8,055, up 32.55% ($1,978) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Angola in the 3rd quarter of 2017 was $26,283,235, a 76.83% decrease ($87,146,882) over the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Angola was Russia’s 105th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 125th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0180% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0930% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Angola was Russia’s 91st largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 112th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0308% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1577% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Angola was Russia’s 173rd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 169th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0000% of Russia’s total imports (just as in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Angola

The major share of Russian exports to Angola in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $12,043,160;
  • Furniture; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings; lamps and lighting fittings, not elsewhere specified or included; illuminated sign illuminated nameplates and the like; prefabricated buildings (HS code 94) - a decrease of $1,880,661;
  • Ships, boats and floating structures (HS code 89) - a decrease of $1,664,985;
  • Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; parts and accessories thereof (HS code 90) - a decrease of $1,228,580;
  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - a decrease of $152,804.
