Russia’s Trade with Honduras

In the 3rd quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Honduras totaled $10,198,442, up 85.07% ($4,687,772) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $5,220,981, up 151.60% ($3,145,844) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2017 totaled $4,977,461, up 44.88% ($1,541,928) from the 3rd quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade balance with Honduras went from a deficit of $1,360,396 in the 3rd quarter of 2016, to a surplus of $243,520 in the 3rd quarter of 2017.

Honduras was Russia’s 117th largest trading partner in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 120th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0070% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0045% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Honduras was Russia’s 105th largest export market in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (up from 118th in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0061% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0029% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Honduras was Russia’s 102nd largest supplier in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (down from 101st in the 3rd quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0082% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0069% in the 3rd quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Imports from Honduras

The major share of Russian imports from Honduras in the 3rd quarter of 2017 (and in the 3rd quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 88.74% of Russia’s total imports from Honduras (81.97% in the 3rd quarter of 2016);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 6.25% of Russia’s total imports from Honduras (7.52% in the 3rd quarter of 2016);
  • Textiles, textile products and footwear (HS codes 50-67) - 3.15% of Russia’s total imports from Honduras (8.54% in the 3rd quarter of 2016);
