The top five Russia’s trade partners in North America in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were the US (4.1276% of Russia’s total foreign trade), Mexico (0.4500%), Canada (0.3004%), Trinidad and Tobago (0.0871%), and Cuba (0.0408%);

The top five Russia’s export markets in North America in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were the US (3.3628% of Russia’s total exports), Mexico (0.4305%), Canada (0.2775%), Trinidad and Tobago (0.1489%), and Cuba (0.0672%);

The top five Russia’s import suppliers from North America in the 3rd quarter of 2017 were the US (5.2009% of Russia’s total imports), Mexico (0.4773%), Canada (0.3326%), Puerto Rico (0.0649%), and Costa Rica (0.0308%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of North America in the 3rd quarter of 2017 over the 3rd quarter of 2016:

  • The share of Trinidad and Tobago in Russia’s total exports declined 2.3-fold from 0.3492% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.1489% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Puerto Rico in Russia’s total exports declined 7.3-fold from 0.0116% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0016% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017;
  • The share of Cuba in Russia’s total imports declined 8.7-fold from 0.0322% in the 3rd quarter of the 2016 to 0.0037% in the 3rd quarter of the 2017.
