Russia’s Trade with Belarus

In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Belarus totaled $8,247,553,081, up 31.73% ($1,986,442,239) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Belarus in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $5,263,995,982, up 42.35% ($1,565,944,412) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Belarus in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $2,983,557,099, up 16.41% ($420,497,827) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Belarus in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $2,280,438,883, a 100.92% increase ($1,145,446,585) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 4.9344% of Russia’s total trade (up from 4.5947% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Belarus was Russia’s 4th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 5th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 5.1174% of Russia’s total exports (up from 4.4110% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Belarus was Russia’s 5th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 4th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 4.6415% of Russia’s total imports (down from 4.8884% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Belarus

The major share of Russian exports to Belarus in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
