In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Kuwait totaled $195,660,113, up 42.86% ($58,701,700) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $195,660,113, up 42.99% ($58,821,991) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017 were $0, down 100.00% ($120,291) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $195,660,113, a 43.11% increase ($58,942,282) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Kuwait was Russia’s 73rd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 76th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1171% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1005% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Kuwait was Russia’s 63rd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 67th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1902% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1632% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

There were no Russia’s imports from Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017, while in the 4th quarter of 2016, Kuwait was Russia’s 150th largest supplier, accounting for 0.0002% of Russia’s total imports.

Russia’s Exports to Kuwait

The major share of Russian exports to Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Optical, photographic, cinematographic, measuring, checking, precision, medical or surgical instruments and apparatus; parts and accessories thereof (HS code 90) - an increase of $1,048,508;
  • Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof (HS code 84) - an increase of $731,262.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Kuwait in the 4th quarter of 2017 over the 4th quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:
