Russia’s Trade with Moldova

In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Moldova totaled $415,895,684, up 11.61% ($43,265,306) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Moldova in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $293,748,365, up 4.82% ($13,508,478) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Moldova in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $122,147,319, up 32.21% ($29,756,828) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Moldova in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $171,601,046, a 8.65% decrease ($16,248,350) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Moldova was Russia’s 56th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 52nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2488% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.2735% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Moldova was Russia’s 53rd largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 47th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.2856% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.3343% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Moldova was Russia’s 59th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 60th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1900% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.1762% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

The major share of Russian exports to Moldova in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:
