In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Trinidad and Tobago totaled $318,380,937, up 67.72% ($128,553,983) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Trinidad and Tobago in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $318,102,513, up 67.70% ($128,414,849) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $278,424, up 99.89% ($139,134) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Trinidad and Tobago in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $317,824,089, a 67.67% increase ($128,275,715) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Trinidad and Tobago was Russia’s 63rd largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 68th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.1905% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.1393% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Trinidad and Tobago was Russia’s 144th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (up from 147th in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0004% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0003% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Imports from Trinidad and Tobago

The major share of Russian imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 83.98% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (99.99% in the 4th quarter of 2016);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 15.94% of Russia’s total imports from Trinidad and Tobago (0.00% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

The largest gains in Russia’s imports from Trinidad and Tobago in the 4th quarter of 2017 over the 4th quarter of 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Beverages, spirits and vinegar (HS code 22) - an increase of $94,547;
