Russia’s Trade with Tunisia

In the 4th quarter of 2017, Russia’s trade with Tunisia was $109,946,441, down 7.19% ($8,515,443) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s exports to Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2017 were $79,062,647, down 13.39% ($12,224,088) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s imports from Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2017 totaled $30,883,794, up 13.65% ($3,708,645) from the 4th quarter of 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2017 was $48,178,853, a 24.85% decrease ($15,932,733) over the 4th quarter of 2016.

Tunisia was Russia’s 84th largest trading partner in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 82nd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0658% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0869% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Tunisia was Russia’s 76th largest export market in the 4th quarter of 2017 (down from 73rd in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0769% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.1089% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Tunisia was Russia’s 80th largest supplier in the 4th quarter of 2017 (just as in the 4th quarter of 2016), accounting for 0.0480% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0518% in the 4th quarter of 2016).

Russia’s Exports to Tunisia

The major share of Russian exports to Tunisia in the 4th quarter of 2017 (and in the 4th quarter of 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

Russia’s Imports from Tunisia

  • Machinery, equipment and vehicles (HS codes 84-90) - 18.74% of Russia’s total imports from Tunisia (23.55% in the 4th quarter of 2016);
