In 2017, Russia’s trade with Costa Rica totaled $137,473,673, up 29.84% ($31,596,696) from 2016.

Russia’s exports to Costa Rica in 2017 were $26,777,667, down 11.33% ($3,420,306) from 2016.

Russia’s imports from Costa Rica in 2017 totaled $110,696,006, up 46.27% ($35,017,002) from 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Costa Rica in 2017 was $83,918,339, a 84.51% increase ($38,437,308) over 2016.

Costa Rica was Russia’s 106th largest trading partner in 2017 (up from 110th in 2016), accounting for 0.0235% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0226% in 2016).

Costa Rica was Russia’s 124th largest export market in 2017 (down from 123rd in 2016), accounting for 0.0075% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0106% in 2016).

Costa Rica was Russia’s 83rd largest supplier in 2017 (up from 86th in 2016), accounting for 0.0488% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.0415% in 2016).

  • Paper and paperboard; articles of paper pulp, of paper or of paperboard (HS code 48) - an increase of $348,310;
