Russia’s Trade with Indonesia

In 2017, Russia’s trade with Indonesia totaled $3,272,770,943, up 25.12% ($657,106,371) from 2016.

Russia’s exports to Indonesia in 2017 totaled $788,775,590, up 95.52% ($385,347,255) from 2016.

Russia’s imports from Indonesia in 2017 totaled $2,483,995,353, up 12.28% ($271,759,116) from 2016.

Russia’s trade deficit with Indonesia in 2017 was $1,695,219,763, a 6.28% decrease ($113,588,139) over 2016.

Indonesia was Russia’s 38th largest trading partner in 2017 (down from 37th in 2016), accounting for 0.5604% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.5592% in 2016).

Indonesia was Russia’s 54th largest export market in 2017 (up from 67th in 2016), accounting for 0.2209% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.1413% in 2016).

Indonesia was Russia’s 22nd largest supplier in 2017 (down from 21st in 2016), accounting for 1.0944% of Russia’s total imports (down from 1.2138% in 2016).

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 25.93% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (8.40% in 2016);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 23.48% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (36.97% in 2016);
  • Metals and products from them (HS codes 72-83) - 22.20% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (10.71% in 2016);
  • Mineral products (HS codes 25-27) - 16.52% of Russia’s total exports to Indonesia (29.43% in 2016);
