Russia’s exports to Montenegro in 2017 were $11,404,665, down 49.27% ($11,078,526) from 2016.

Russia’s imports from Montenegro in 2017 totaled $5,757,778, up 11.50% ($593,773) from 2016.

Russia’s trade surplus with Montenegro in 2017 was $5,646,887, a 67.40% decrease ($11,672,299) over 2016.

Montenegro was Russia’s 148th largest trading partner in 2017 (down from 140th in 2016), accounting for 0.0029% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0059% in 2016).

Montenegro was Russia’s 144th largest export market in 2017 (down from 132nd in 2016), accounting for 0.0032% of Russia’s total exports (down from 0.0079% in 2016).

  • Articles of stone, plaster, cement, asbestos, mica or similar materials (HS code 68) - an increase of $149,208;
  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - an increase of $39,168.

The largest declines in Russia’s exports to Montenegro in 2017 over 2016 were recorded for the following product groups:

  • Aluminum and articles thereof (HS code 76) - a decrease of $12,138,007;
  • Mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes (HS code 27) - a decrease of $286,262;
  • Wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal (HS code 44) - a decrease of $247,784;
  • Electrical machinery and equipment and parts thereof; sound recorders and reproducers, television image and sound recorders and reproducers, and parts and accessories of such articles (HS code 85) - a decrease of $189,787;
  • Ceramic products (HS code 69) - a decrease of $163,140;
  • Edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers (HS code 07) - a decrease of $142,513;
  • Miscellaneous edible preparations (HS code 21) - a decrease of $135,546;
  • Vehicles other than railway or tramway rolling stock, and parts and accessories thereof (HS code 87) - a decrease of $127,357;
  • Furniture; bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions and similar stuffed furnishings; lamps and lighting fittings, not elsewhere specified or included; illuminated sign illuminated nameplates and the like; prefabricated buildings (HS code 94) - a decrease of $59,315;
  • Rubber and articles thereof (HS code 40) - a decrease of $40,052.
