Russia’s trade surplus with Mozambique in 2017 was $49,539,024, a 585.18% increase ($42,308,931) over 2016.

Mozambique was Russia’s 114th largest trading partner in 2017 (up from 116th in 2016), accounting for 0.0158% of Russia’s total trade (down from 0.0161% in 2016).

Mozambique was Russia’s 106th largest export market in 2017 (up from 118th in 2016), accounting for 0.0199% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0144% in 2016).

Mozambique was Russia’s 104th largest supplier in 2017 (down from 97th in 2016), accounting for 0.0094% of Russia’s total imports (down from 0.0186% in 2016).

The major share of Russian exports to Mozambique in 2017 (and in 2016) was accounted for the following product types:

  • Food products and agricultural raw materials (HS codes 01-24) - 70.84% of Russia’s total exports to Mozambique (88.45% in 2016);
  • Chemical products (HS codes 28-40) - 24.52% of Russia’s total exports to Mozambique (8.42% in 2016);
