Russia’s Trade with Australia

In the 1st quarter of 2018, Russia’s trade with Australia totaled $192,914,964, up 54.88% ($68,357,363) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s exports to Australia in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $26,730,080, up 39.69% ($7,595,186) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s imports from Australia in the 1st quarter of 2018 totaled $166,184,884, up 57.64% ($60,762,177) from the 1st quarter of 2017.

Russia’s trade deficit with Australia in the 1st quarter of 2018 was $139,454,804, a 61.62% increase ($53,166,991) over the 1st quarter of 2017.

Australia was Russia’s 70th largest trading partner in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 75th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.1224% of Russia’s total trade (up from 0.0969% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Australia was Russia’s 96th largest export market in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 99th in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.0259% of Russia’s total exports (up from 0.0230% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

Australia was Russia’s 47th largest supplier in the 1st quarter of 2018 (up from 51st in the 1st quarter of 2017), accounting for 0.3043% of Russia’s total imports (up from 0.2332% in the 1st quarter of 2017).

  • Tanning or dyeing extracts; dyes, pigments, paints, varnishes, putty and mastics (HS code 32) - a decrease of $158,354;
